Star Lynx Miyu

Okay, so I only got to play Star Fox when I went to my cousin's house because I was a Sega kid...then a Playstation kid, then a PS2/GC/XB- ...nevermind.

SO I got to play the Star Fox 2 leaked beta and holy crap did I like that game, I especially liked Miyu's character design! But she's never shown back up in the series, probably because they keep remaking the first game. Star Fox, Star Fox 64, Star Fox 64 3D, Star Fox Zero, all the same game technically, GAH.

But whatever, Miyu, she's awesome so, let me tell you the idea behind this picture, the closest thing you'll get to fanfic from me.

Miyu helped Star Fox in one mission to stop Andross (in Star Fox 2) afterward she was let go due to her reckless flying. So, the first thing she did was head down the wrong hallway and snag one of their old AR Wing starfighters and left! From there she formed her own team of mercenaries, Star Lynx. Not as well equipped as Star Fox with their giant Great Fox ship, they had to make due with salvaged ships and parts they find. Her friend in the other ship sporting a Star Wolf ship made from the dozens of ships from the times they've been shot down!

So, Miyu fights on with her own team, competing with Fox, Falco and company for bounties and work.

I had a lot of fun making this, really got the idea of doing it from  a conversation on a art-multi stream and I really ...ah...took it too far. It was just a close up at first ...then the ship....and then I did the next ship...oh but what if it had a portrait like in the game! ....Ahem, it became a small project in it's own! I may submit a zoomed in pic or two of some detailed shots, let me know in the comments if that'd interest you!
