I do agree that Metroid was an awesome series... until Team Ninja did that thing where Samus suddenly became damn near helpless and always seeking the approval of somebody.
It was just a bad game overall sadly.
So, not only was she helpless, but her intellegence plummeted.
Then again, Team Ninja wasn't exactly the best choice for a game with a female lead. They did make 3 games that were basically excuses to put their female Dead or Alive fighters in bikinis, after all.
All those helpless scenes would have been fine ...if it was the first time out, this is her ...what 8th mission(that we've seen)?
Also, have a laugh and compare it to the Fusion story. Pretty much identical.
Problem was that the helpless stuff would've worked if it was her first serious mission (maybe something that was even before Zero Mission when she was still a teenager), but by then she was battle-hardened and understood that she should always expect the worst.
Yeah, it's almost identical, but Fusion had a better approach.
Yeah that's what I'm talking about, it copied fusion and had a worse telling of the story. But oh well.
The other Metroid games? Fantastic, fav 2D: Zero Mission, 3D? Prime.
Also thanks for the comment!
oh and keep the work ^^
Thank you very much!
